Established in 2002, our mission at
SCI-Step, Inc. was to build a nationally recognized out-patient
rehabilitation program for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
In 2009, we
officially opened up our program to other neurologic conditions. It is our
goal for 2010 to help as many people as possible, accomplish what was once told
impossible!
It is
our philosophy, that while science catches up with spinal cord injuries,
individuals need to do their part to recover, stay healthy, prevent atrophy
and limit secondary complications.
We
have the support of top medical doctors in the SCI field, documented
research from the leading scientists, proven rehabilitation components and
degreed exercise physiologists and physical therapists.
We want to impact as many lives as we can by providing activity-based
rehabilitation, physical therapy and occupational therapy combined with a holistic approach to health
in the environment
for individuals to excel.
