Age: 20 Date of Injury: 10/18/06 Injury Level: C 6/7 SCI-Step Start Date: 7/16/07 Bryan was attending LSU at Eunice on a baseball scholarship. He attained his lifelong dream in June 2006 when he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies. He was injured sliding head first into a dirt ditch while running to go play mud football and slipped. He shattered hi C6 and fractured C7. He was an inpatient at TIRR in Houston for PT and OT. Bryan came to SCI-Step to take advantage for the recovery therapy and the advanced pieces of equipment for a trial week and stayed for two weeks initially. He and his family made the decision to return for two more months and maximize his recovery while in Ohio. Favorite Quote: "To do whatever is needed and God willing, walk again!"
