Age: 22 Hometown: McGehee, Arkansas Date of Injury: 4/23/2006 Injury Level: T8 SCI-Step Start Date: 2/18/2008 My name is Matt Courson and I had a ATV accident that left me as a T8 paraplegic. I was told I was an ASIA A complete injury and I would never walk again. I never believed that I would not walk again. I felt like with proper therapy, a strong will and enormous faith that I would walk again and recover from this injury. I was a former collegiate baseball player and have a lot of drive to recover from this injury. I hope through SCI-Step, I can continue my therapy and progression from this injury. My ultimate goal is to one day get back o my feet. I have several other goals which are to work hard, never give up and to be the best person that I can be. You can also visit www.mattcourson.org.
