It was very encouraging to be able to attend. Prior to my accident, I was very active with my hands. I was a carpenter who worked in construction. I own and used many various hand tools and heavy power tools. Since my accident and SCI, I was forced to stop my way of living. I was also a guitar player and unable to play. Many people put a great emphasis on being able to walk. However, I would love to gain back more usage of my hands. That is what I miss the most. I can walk short distances with the help of two canes. Any improvement in that area is also a desire as well. Favorite Quote: "God is good-all the time."
